Our amazing banquet is coming up fast, so it is time to think about the Outstanding Awards. Members nominated by members and selected by the board of directors. The categories are:
1. Outstanding Sportsmanship
2. Outstanding Work Ethic
3. Outstanding Integrity
Trainer of the Year Award!!!
This will be awarded to the Member Trainer who has inspired their student(s) in the areas of horsemanship, showmanship and sportsmanship.

Whether you are a seasoned expert, or are just starting out in the show circuit, the Central Jersey Horseman's Association invites all horse enthusiasts to join our Association and attend our horse shows. Our organization holds a series of six NJPHA / APHA PAC / TIP recognized schooling shows, culminating in a not to be missed year-end awards banquet. We have designed our shows to accommodate exhibitors of all levels in a variety of divisions for English, Western and Standardbred disciplines. Also ECRDA/NJWDA recognized dressage and NEW this year we will be offering "New Rider" and Low Adult Hunter divisions. Driving will be offered at the May, June, August and September shows and those who complete in 3 or more shows will be eligible for full year-end awards.The year-end awards program is a fun and well-attended event that recognizes individual achievements based on points exhibitors have accumulated at CJHA shows throughout the season. At this banquet, members may receive awards for the 2016 Grand and Reserve Division Championship, as well as trophies and ribbons through 10th place in each Division, plus special year end awards for Marshall & Sterling classes. There are several perpetual trophies awarded for various achievements as well as our Trainer of the Year award. Member trainers who meet minimum show attendance criteria will receive special recognition and a gift. Our August show will be double pointed! For those of you who are looking for a schooling show to brush up or you just want to give us a try before joining we offer a 1 day guest membership ($15). The Association holds regular meetings throughout the year. All members are invited to attend and voice their recommendations and any concerns they may have.
